A product to help low dexterity users wash the inside of glasses and bottles. Just add a cloth and rotate, the silicone blades will conform to the required shape.
2 very similar shapes can have surprisingly varied results when 3D printing. You have huge freedom with print orientation, wall thickness, overhangs, and more. Yet the most effective design will consider each in detail to improve strength, ease of manufacturing, and usability.
Utilising a semi-flexible TPU filament, the mount uses a lattice structure to clamp onto a variety of handle bars. Zero infill and no support material needed, the mount also splits into smaller pieces for cheaper packaging.

In this 7 day, Kenwood inspired, design challenge I looked into liquid extraction, a process that exists in some professional kitchens, but doesn't have an effective consumer option.
kSpin is designed to remove a greater volume of liquid at a faster rate than manual spinners, perfect for spinning salad, pressing tofu, or dehydrating fruit. Similarly, it can be used to extract more flavourful stocks, nut milks, and more.
The demographic was identified as ‘The experimental hobbyist’ - A health conscious enthusiast for cooking and baking, aged 25-35. They like to get the most out of food and try new things.

A kitchen appliance that combines existing spinners with a more robust build to allow for a wide variety of hot or cold ingredients. Large centrifugal forces and gentle heat application results in more effective liquid extraction.
Taking a deep dive into the world of climbing to identify where the barriers exist. This involved reaching out to visually impaired climbers, looking at guidelines for disabled route-setting, doing a comprehensive medical literature review, and exploring existing products for both climbing training and visually impaired support.
After defining the problem, the solution found involved using audio, visual, and haptic feedback to guide the user along a route.
For set up on home walls or at bouldering gyms. Flash is installed behind the wall, protected from the user. The system is mains powered and can be customised post-installation to expand the system or move units around.

Final Year University Project
Flash is an intelligent climbing wall upgrade kit for visually impaired climbers. Combining audio, visual and haptic feedback, these devices guide the user, allowing them to complete graded routes, climb more independently and develop their training.
